My name is Nonhlanhla “Noni” Zondi, I feel privileged to be the Head Mistress of a school that prides itself on providing education of the highest standard. As you browse through our webpages, I hope you will learn more about the wonderful learners, staff, and programmes we have to offer.

Our Mission statement continually provides direction for our school.  At Springfield Primary School our focus is on quality and excellence.  Over the years that has been achieved through self-discipline, respect, and taking responsibility.  We bring nothing but the best in every child and help them approach life with confidence and curiosity. Springfield aims for all our learners to enjoy their time at this school, to have memories and friends that will last a lifetime, and to leave with personal skills and attributes needed to be successful young adults. Malcolm X once said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”.

 My message to Springfield Primary School community: which are learners, staff, and parents is that people of fine character live by their own values. They are honest and are committed to truthfulness in thoughts, words, and deeds. Character creates self-respect, which leads to high self-esteem. Maturity is reflected in all aspects of the character decisions we make, the friends we choose, and the responsibilities we accept. 

To all our former, current, and future learners, let me share this quote by Tata Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela “EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON YOU CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD.”
